The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. I’m sure they’d be thrilled with this.
Before people get too carried away with AR use of public monuments, note that icons like the Sydney Opera House require permission in advance if the image dominantly features the building.
